Arash Pourhabib is a Senior Data Scientist at NVIDIA, where he applies machine learning and optimization techniques to enhance data systems within the Operations organization. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. At NVIDIA, his work involves integrating key datasets and collaborating with Operations and IT partners to streamline data processes and improve decision-making.
Previously, he held positions at Google and Walmart, where he worked on forecasting and quality control. He has also contributed to academic research, publishing in journals including the Journal of the American Statistical Association and the Journal of Machine Learning Research, and served on the editorial board of the INFORMS Journal on Data Science.
